To his fans, John Vanderslice is a great storyteller. But, he's known as a musician. And his new album, called
Emerald
City
, continues his long practice of writing poetic, character-driven stories. John is from San Francisco where he actually owns a recording studio called
Tiny Telephone
. He performed last weekend in San Diego. And he joins me now in studio to play some music and talk about what he does.
