California grocery stores are once again recalling some beef products. Kelley Weiss reports.
Nebraska Beef LTD of Omaha voluntarily recalled more than 1 million pounds of beef product sent out around the country that was possibly contaminated with E. Coli.
The California Department of Public Health reports that grocery stores around the state are pulling beef filet mignons from the shelves. Any of these steaks with a 'packed on date' of June 28 thru August 11 of this year could be contaminated. E. coli infection can cause abdominal pains and diarrhea.
Children, the elderly and people with weakened immune systems are at the highest risk of getting the illness.
In Sacramento I’m Kelley Weiss.
