Local artist, Mark Murphy takes an imaginative look at politics and corporate greed in a show of his work called Plug Me The show and opening reception takes place at Subtext.
Aerosol artist and former Banker's Hill resident, Chor Boogie, has moved on from tagging the Berlin Wall and is back in San Diego. You can meet the artist and see his 80-foot mural installed at Alexander Salazar Fine Art.

Mexican artists turn plaguing issues into art. The opening reception of UCSD"s Spring exhibit takes place on campus at the gallery@calit2. A panel with some of the artists and curator will be taking place as well.

Festivals
Take part in a tradition dating back to Medieval Europe at the fifth annual Seaport Village Spring Busker Festival. Busking is better known as street performance, and there will be fire breathers, unicyclists, and musicians performing for your strolling pleasure.

It's the last weekend to see "Groundswell" at the Old Globe. The suspenseful drama follows three men getting swept up in the greed of a diamond-mining scheme.
