Set in the deceptively idyllic fictional English county of Midsomer, the suspenseful drama MIDSOMER MURDERS is based on the popular novels of Caroline Graham.
Featuring an eccentric cast of characters, ubiquitous red herrings, and quaint countryside scenery, this long-running crime series recalls classic public television British mysteries of the past.

But some of the Hodgsons now in circulation are not quite what they seem.
The details of their true provenance are contained in a secret Black Book, a tome whose possession has several citizens prepared to murder in order to protect their investments.

But local folklore about The Beast of Midsomer — a big cat that is reputed to have torn out the throats of innocent locals in the past — proves to be more than a legend as the Beast strikes again.

"The Glitch” Parts 1 & 2 repeat Thursday, Oct. 17 from 10-11:30 p.m. - A maverick scientist has discovered a fatal flaw in prevailing electromagnetic theory and hence in the binary system.
His theories are denounced by both his peers in Christchurch College Oxford, and by the businessman who has funded research and development of a new worldwide system for controlling air traffic.
It seems that academic and business interests are willing to collude in murder in order to sustain their reputations and profit.
