Demonstrators have planned a series of events in San Diego this weekend, to protest the Trump administration's immigration policies.
The events include a Saturday morning protest in downtown San Diego, called "Families Belong Together And Free.” It's being organized by the group San Diego Indivisible.
Saturday's march starts at the Civic Center in downtown San Diego and will continue on to a nearby Immigration and Customs Enforcement building.

President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Wednesday to end family separation at the border, but the order does not include any information or instructions on reuniting several thousand families already affected by the policy over the past several months.
Organizers of this weekend’s demonstration said the move is not a solution because children will still be detained with their families. In addition, they said irreversible damage has been done to the families separated at the border.
On Friday, Trump pushed back against the uproar, dismissing what he called "phony stories of sadness and grief" while asserting the real victims of the nation's immigration crisis are Americans killed by those who cross the border unlawfully.

San Diego Indivisible hosts a rally against the Trump Administration’s family separation policies. Protesters will march 3 blocks from the civic center to the local headquarters of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) at the federal building. This event is endorsed by San Diego ACLU, California Teachers Association, local border organizations, Democratic clubs and local unions. Indigenous dancers will do a cleansing ceremony.

Possible rally in support of a national day of action to oppose Trump’s immigration policies that separate children from parents at our border, deny security to DACA recipients and use ICE to intimidate immigrants.
