Fair skies and offshore winds under a dome of high pressure will warm up San Diego County Tuesday, meteorologists said.
According to the National Weather Service, daytime highs of 7 to 15 degrees above average are likely Tuesday. That should translate into temperatures topping out in the mid-70s near the coast, high 70s to low 80s in the valleys, high 60s to low 70s in the mountains and mid-70s in the deserts.
The warming trend is expected to continue into Wednesday, though temperatures will not be quite as warm as they will be Tuesday, the weather service said.
