The pattern of overcast mornings and off-and-on rain predominant in San Diego skies in recent days is set to continue for at least another week.

Patchy fog is expected every morning in the coming week in the San Diego area, and clouds will cover the skies every day save for a brief respite on Wednesday, National Weather Service said.

The region will then see a chance of showers from Wednesday night through Saturday morning.

Temperatures mostly will remain in the upper 60s to lower 70s along the coastline, forecasters predict.

Inland areas will experience a temperature increase into the upper 70s on Tuesday, but things will cool off into the 60s and 70s over the following days.

San Diego County is continuing to have a wetter-than-usual year. Since Oct. 1, San Diego International Airport has seen a more than 12 inches of rain — above the average 10 inches expected for this time of year.
