Apple Adds New Jobs To San Diego
Apple announced plans to build a new $1 billion campus in Austin, Texas, Thursday. The iPhone maker also unveiled plans to add new jobs across the United States, including San Diego. The Cupertino-based company expects to add 1,000 new jobs at a San Diego new office, over the next three years. There are career opportunities expected in engineering, design and research.

Holiday Shopping Season
New research shows bargain hunters have high expectations for holiday season discounts. According to the National Retail Federation, American consumers are expected to spend at least $1000 during this season. Researchers say sales and discounts remained the largest factor for consumers when they are choosing a retailer.
