U.S. Artillery Targets Iraqi Insurgents

U.S. forces respond to the downing of a U.S. helicopter near Fallujah with an artillery barrage aimed at Iraqi insurgents in southern Baghdad. A dozen U.S. troops have died in Iraq over the Christmas and New Year's holidays. Hear NPR's Scott Simon and NPR's Julie McCarthy.
