Chula Vista becomes part of the 2012 London Olympic excitement with the opening of the Team USA Shop located in its U.S. Olympic Training Center.
Following a ribbon-cutting ceremony, the store will open this afternoon and feature more than 100 different team USA-branded items. Proceeds from sales will go to support U.S. Olympic athletes.
Arielle Martin, a London 2012 Olympic BMX qualifier, will be there to sign autographs. Kara Patterson, a 2008 Olympian and 2012 javelin hopeful, will also be there to meet with attendees.
