Now, surely this wasn't the most exciting adventure the crew of the USS Carl Vinson has been a part of. No, this is the crew that took part in the historic mission of burying Osama bin Laden at sea. But there are a few perks in being based out of the city where Comic-Con takes place each year, and fortunately the men and women of the USS Carl Vinson got to enjoy a few.
For starters, the cast of NCIS Los Angeles (including LL Cool J and Chris O'Donnell) hung out with folks from the Vinson crew. I'm guessing the actors had as many questions for the Vinson crew as the sailors did for the cast...
Then, Vinson crew members were able to meet Stan Lee, creator of the action hero Captain America, who is the main character (quite obviously) in the summer blockbuster "Captain America: First Avenger." And actor Chris Evans, who plays Captain America.
