Sidewinder Singer to Perform at World Series (Video)

The military band Sidewinder gained international fame when their version of the Adele song "Rolling in the Deep" went viral, garnering almost two million views on YouTube. That song was performed by Staff Sgt. Angie Johnson, one of Sidewinder's two lead singers. The other lead singer, Staff Sgt. Brian Owens, also has a remarkable voice - one the entire country will get to hear tonight when he performs "God Bless America" at the first game of the World Series.

Owens performed "God Bless America" before Game 3 of the National League Championship Series last week. The Belleville News Democrat reports Missouri-native Owens so impressed the St. Louis Cardinals that the team invited him to sing it again during tonight's game.
