Bill to Help Veterans Find Jobs Clears Congress (Video)

Legislation that aims to help veterans find work after leaving the service is headed to President Obama's desk. The House of Representatives voted unanimously in favor of the bill this morning, a week after the Senate passed the measure. Now it just needs the president's signature to become law. The legislation is part of Obama's American Jobs Act, and he's said he plans to sign it.

According to Reuters, the bill would help veterans this way:

The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports the unemployment rate for post-9/11 veterans is almost 12 percent.
