The quickly-moving Waldo Canyon fire is heading toward the storied Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
At last estimate, the fire had grown to more than 4,500 acres.
The Pentagon Channel reports that operations at the Air Force Academy have been affected as winds push the wildfire toward the school.
