Four U.S. service members were killed Tuesday by indirect fire, possibly by a rocket, near Bagram Airfield in Afghanistan, according to the Associated Press.

The deaths occurred the same day NATO International Security Assistance Forces officially handed responsibility for the country's security over to Afghan National Security forces.

The Washington Post reports the Taliban has taken responsibility for the attack on Bagram Air Base.
