Five Killed in New Orleans Shootings

New Orleans is struck by another round of street killings, with five people gunned down in the city Friday night.

The shootings come nearly a month after multiple killings drove the state to seek troops from the National Guard. The Guard patrols neighborhoods where there are still miles of abandoned homes, allowing New Orleans police to focus on previously high-crime areas.
