The happy family in Death Sentence (Fox)

Actor Kevin Bacon has risen to stardom with films such as Diner, Footloose and Mystic River . This summer he takes on the role of a father out for revenge in Death Sentence (opening August 31 throughout San Diego) . I spoke with the Bacon at the Omni Hotel after an autograph signing at this year's Comic-Con .

Novelist Brian Garfield wrote Death Wish and Death Sentence a few years apart in the 1970s. Both deal with wealthy white men that take the law into their own hands after losing a loved one to senseless violence. In the film Death Wish , Charles Bronson became a vigilante roaming the streets of New York. But in the new film Death Sentence , Kevin Bacons character is out for a more personal kind of revenge.

Kevin I dindn't think you were that good of an actor!!! I liked you in The movie where Neve Camble and That Other big tited chick diked out accept where you showed off your wanger! And I thought you were stupid for foot loose but Stir of echoes was a steller performance! But this execution of this acting is fucking tits!!! Although it could have been a little more origanl I think it is one of the best movies I have seen this year! Sorry about the spelling I am drunk! Your new biggest fan A Correctional Officer!
