The Associated Press and local media are reporting that authorities say three people have been killed after shootings that took place at a Jewish community center and another location near the Kansas City area on Sunday.
KCTV5 reports that a suspect was arrested and appeared to yell "Heil Hitler" as he was being taken away in handcuffs by the Overland Park police.
The Jewish Community Center of Greater Kansas City in Overland Park, Kan., posted on its Facebook page that a "shooting incident" had occurred and that the building was on lockdown.
The other shooting took place at Village Shalom, an assisted living center about a mile from the community center.
