San Diego police Tuesday sought a bicyclist who hit a homeless man in the head with a hammer in the Midway District.
The victim suffered minor injuries in the attack at around 11:15 p.m. Monday in the vicinity of Camino Del Rio West and Gaines Street, San Diego police Officer Dan Lasher said. It was not immediately clear whether he was taken to a hospital.
Police described the suspect as a white man wearing a white bandana and a black backpack who was last seen riding a bicycle on Gaines Street.
