From Democratic Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi to Republican Congressman Kevin McCarthy, Californians on both sides of the political aisle are becoming the public faces of the impeachment inquiry against President Trump.

California has been at odds with the White House since President Trump took office.

The state has filed or joined more the 60 lawsuits against the administration over everything from immigration to environmental regulation.

So it’s no surprise that California is also playing a pivotal role in the ongoing impeachment inquiry against the president.
