Scott Koenig is always on the hunt for the best tacos in Tijuana. He's the writer behind the travel website A Gringo In Mexico and the author of the book “Seven Days in The Valle: Baja California’s Wine Country Cuisine."

In a new conversation series for "Only Here," KPBS' podcast about life at the U.S.-Mexico border, host Alan Lilienthal talks to Koenig about his outsider's take on tacos in Tijuana, and also touches on the importance of living in the moment, immigration's effect on food and more. Koenig also gives listeners a quick list of a few good taco shops in Tijuana and the tacos to try at each one.
