The pandemic shutdowns for businesses across California are almost over.

After a roller coaster year of partial openings and closings, the state has now set June 15th as the date for a near-total resumption of business activity.

Restaurants, which are among the hardest hit sectors, now have roughly 10 weeks to gear up for reopening. Jot Condie, President and CEO of the California Restaurant Association, joined Midday Edition on Wednesday to discuss the post-pandemic outlook for the state's restaurants.
