Active-duty service members and veterans can see the action-flick White House Down for free on the Fourth of July.
Troops can show their military IDs at Regal Entertainment Group, AMC Theatres, Cinemark Theatres, and Carmike Cinemas for free admission to the movie.
Rory Bruer, president of Worldwide Distribution for Sony Pictures, said in a Sony Pictures press release:
"We think White House Down is the summer's best action movie, so on July 4th, we're inviting all active duty and veteran military personnel to bring a guest and see it for free. It's a great way to celebrate the holiday and to honor and thank the troops for their service to our country."
The movie had a disappointing opening weekend, according to The Hollywood Reporter, bringing in less than $26 million. White House Down cost a reported $150 million to make.

The Roland Emmerich-directed film, which opened wide last weekend, follows Capitol Policeman John Cale (Tatum) who dreams of being a Secret Service agent but has been denied the opportunity. He finds himself indispensable to the President (Foxx) when he’s in the right place (on a White House tour with his daughter) at the wrong time (a paramilitary group takes over 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.), and he must save the President, his daughter, and the country.
If military moviegoers are hungry after watching White House Down, there are a few restaurants with free deals for service members. Participating Iron Skillet and Country Pride restaurants are offering free meals up to $15 on Independence Day for active-duty troops and veterans, according to USA Today.
