Gusty Santa Ana Winds To Last Until Noon

Gusty Santa Ana winds buffeted San Diego County early Friday, meteorologists said.

The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory for valley and mountain areas until noon, saying sustained northeast to east winds of 15 to 25 miles per hour and gusts of up to 45 mph were likely until then.

A wind advisory means winds strong enough to affect driving conditions are expected.

"Driving of high profile vehicles will be hazardous," the weather service said.
