Members of San Diego county's congressional delegation are lining up on both sides of a health care bill that's up for a House vote on Sunday.
The White House can't say if there are enough votes in the House to pass the health care package. But they can be sure that San Diego Democratic Congresswoman Susan Davis is on board.
Davis said the health care bill will bring coverage to millions of uninsured people and slow the increasing cost of health care premiums. She said the bill isn't perfect, but it's time to act.
"I think that there are risks involved, but I think we all have to look at that with clear eyes and recognize that the benefits outweigh the risks," said Davis.
San Diego Republican Congressman Brian Bilbray won't support the health package because it includes a large tax increase.
San Diego Democrat Bob Filner wasn't immediately available for comment. But he has said he won't support legislation, like the current bill, that lacks a government insurance option.
