U.N. to Send Election Team to Iraq

U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan says he will send a U.N. team to Iraq to assess whether direct elections for a transitional Iraqi government can be organized by this summer. U.S. officials hope the U.N. team can break an impasse with a top Shiite cleric calling for early elections. Hear NPR's Nick Spicer.
