Wolfowitz Nomination Unpopular in Europe

Europeans largely object to the nomination of U.S. Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz to head the World Bank. They fear Wolfowitz, one of the main architects of the war in Iraq, will make the bank a mouthpiece for U.S. foreign policy. Supporters say he is a wise choice.
