Tijuana has been known in its history as many things, but a trendy, upscale food, art and culture destination has not been one of them — at least not for a long time.

Tijuana/22000 is part of a series that highlights neighborhoods around the world, including La Jolla and Hillcrest. En Ville Publishing has also developed mobile apps compiling all of the locations with pictures and brief captions.

An official book launching party of Tijuana/22000 will be held Friday, March 21 at Tijuana’s Cultural Center.

Residents of San Diego and Imperial County and Baja California are invited to nominate books online. Please submit nominations prior to March 15 for titles to be considered for the 2025 season. Share your favorite title or two today!
