A new poll from the Public Policy Institute of California shows Elizabeth Warren, Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders in a dead heat in California's Democratic Presidential Primary. It also has bad news for California Sen. Kamala Harris, who is mired in single digits.

As U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren gets ready to hold her first campaign event in San Diego on Thursday, a new poll of registered Democrats and Independent voters in California has good news for the presidential candidate.

The poll, from the Public Policy Institute of California, shows Warren has the support of 23% of likely voters, Joe Biden has 22% and Bernie Sanders has 21%. But in reality, it's a toss-up at this point as the poll has a sampling error of between 3.2 - 4.2%.

All the other candidates are stuck in single digits, including California Senator Kamala Harris, who garnered support from just 8% of likely voters.

The poll also looked at other issues and found that less than half, 46% of registered voters, approve of the state's overall direction.
