A new book outlines abuses of constitutional rights, police overreach and bureaucratic nightmares.

It's called "When They Come For You: How Police and Government are Trampling our Liberties and How to Take Them Back."

Author David Kirby joins Midday Edition on Monday to share some of the stories of people who have experienced government overreach.

In “When The Come For You,” author David Kirby, echoing the famous post-war prose-poem “First they came …,” brings the message to contemporary American culture that when one group of people loses their rights, everyone is less secured.
