There are some potentially positive developments in Francisco Carillo's battle against the military officials who denied his post-traumatic stress disorder claim. Carilllo, the former Staff Sgt about whom I've written extensively on this blog, served in Iraq, but after his combat tour, when he filed a claim saying he was suffering from PTSD - which his platoon leader and eight separate doctors all confirmed - officials at Madigan Army Medical Center told him he was lying and only making the claim for money.
