The San Diego Sheriff's Department says a body has been found during the search for missing Camp Pendleton wife Brittany Killgore, although authorities have not yet determined the identity of the body, according to the Associated Press.

NBC Los Angeles reports a woman has been arrested in connection to the case:

Jessica Lynn Lopez, 27, was arrested late Tuesday morning at the Ramada Inn in the 1400 block of Rosecrans Blvd., the San Diego County Sheriff's Department announced at a press conference Tuesday. She will be charged with murder, said sheriff's Capt. Duncan Fraser with the Homicide Division at an afternoon press conference.

San Diego sheriff’s Capt. Duncan Frasier told reporters this afternoon a body was found in Riverside. Killgore lived in Fallbrook with her estranged husband, Camp Pendleton Marine Lance Cpl. Cory Killgore. Brittany Killgore filed for divorce from her husband last Tuesday. He is not considered a suspect in her disappearance.

As Home Post reported yesterday, investigators believe Camp Pendleton Marine Louis Ray Perez was the last person to see Killgore alive before she disappeared on Friday.

The U-T San Diego reports Perez, 45, is currently being jailed on charges unrelated to the disappearance - allegations he stole an assault rifle from Camp Pendleton. His bail has been set at $500,000.
