From the organizers: SDDT Winter Showcase serves as an opportunity for local artists and members of the community who are enrolled in our Adult and Aging Creatively classes to perform choreographies created by our esteemed Faculty: Yvonne Gagliardo, Tina Carreras, Cecily Holcombe, Isabel Desmet, Luci Salinas & Executive Artistic Director Terry Wilson. In addition, our Work Study program will also be featured in our program with choreographies by Mariana Lara and Ilyana Hughes. This year's showcase will be Sunday, December 15 at 2 p.m. in the Light Box Theater.

At Point Loma Church we will celebrate the birth of Christ throughout the day on Christmas Eve. The services will begin at 10 a.m. in the Chapel. This is a more casual service of carols, a message and treats. Then at 4 p.m. our children will lead us in their annual Christmas musical in the Sanctuary and via livestream. After the children's service, we will have a Living Nativity on the Plaza from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. We will wrap up with two identical services in the Sanctuary at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. These traditional Christmas Eve services include, carols, choir music and candles. Join us for Day Camp at ArtReach! Experience the world of using our art to spread joy, belonging, and generosity to our community! Students will be inspired to create like famous artists such as Kieth Haring and Jean Michel Basquiat, and Faith Ringgold, whose legacy of art brought people and communities together through Social and Environmental Justice. What to expect at ArtReach HQ: What to bring: Please pack a water bottle, lunch, and snacks for your child. A water refill station is available onsite. When: Art camp will be Monday, December 23 from 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Select the Day Camp and Extended Care options for pickup at 5 p.m. Please arrive no more than 15 minutes before class. Where: We are located at 1065 University Ave. San Diego, CA 92103 (on the corner of University and Vermont). Parking: We have limited space in our parking lot for drop off and pick up.
