Together, we’ll explore the rich ecology of the Tijuana River Valley, learn about local water challenges, and discover community-driven solutions that strengthen our resilience to climate change. Along the trail, participants will hear stories of how border communities face pollution, flooding, and climate impacts and how collaborative action is helping create a more resilient watershed. From stormwater solutions to green infrastructure, this walk highlights the vital connection between healthy waterways, thriving wildlife, and strong communities. This is an intermediate hike and an opportunity to explore and learn about this unique place. A lo largo del recorrido, los participantes conocerán historias sobre cómo las comunidades fronterizas enfrentan la contaminación, las inundaciones y los impactos del cambio climático, y cómo la colaboración está ayudando a crear una cuenca hidrográfica más resiliente.
