Billy McLaughlin is an accomplished guitarist with a devoted following. His 20-year career has produced dozens of albums and numerous awards. But, his personal story is equally remarkable. Billy is a dynamic performer and a charming storyteller.

After performing thousands of concerts across the country, he was diagnosed with focal dystonia in his left hand. It is a neurological disorder that makes the muscles contract uncontrollably. And for most musicians, it is a career-ending diagnosis.

But, Billy made the bold decision to have his guitars flipped over to the other side and he learned to play all over again - using his other hand.

“Billy McLaughlin: Flip Side” is a combination of concert footage of McLaughlin performing and the story of how he overcame focal dystonia to learn to play the guitar again.
