Rachel Bloom
Theater/Comedy
One of the best shows on TV right now is "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend," co-created and starring comedian Rachel Bloom.
Bloom combines risqué comedy with social commentary that results in songs like "The Sexy Getting Ready Song." Along with the CW TV show, Bloom has a collection of YouTube videos and two live musical sketch comedy shows, “Bloom is a Triple Threat!!!” and “Sing Out, Louise.”
The San Diego Center for Jewish Culture presents an evening with the 2016 Golden Globe-winning actress featuring her comedy and musical satire.

Well-Strung
Music
Well-Strung is a singing string quartet that fuses classical music with pop songs.
Think Kelly Clarkson songs played on the violin and Beethoven classics delivered with flair. The New York City-based quartet also has a teen heartthrob appeal thanks to its flirty and fashion-forward musicians. A classical music boy band, if you will.
Moonlight Cultural Foundation welcomes Well-Strung for a concert that promises everything from Taylor Swift to Johann Sebastian Bach.
Details: 8 p.m. Saturday. Moonlight Amphitheatre, 1200 Vale Terrace Drive, Vista. $20 to $55; find tickets.
