Rumsfeld Makes Farewell Visit to Troops in Iraq

Outgoing Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld made an unexpected farewell visit to the troops in Iraq on Sunday.

The Pentagon said Rumsfeld spoke to more than 1,000 soldiers and Marines at a base in Anbar province.
