Each half-hour episode of "Everyday Food" offers quick, easy and practical solutions to the challenges of everyday cooking and includes easy-to-make recipes along with smart tips and kitchen techniques. The cast consists of four home-grown talents from the kitchens of Martha Stewart Living.
Cooking creative and tasty meals at home doesn't have to break the bank. In this episode, "Everyday Food" shows you how to create hearty and delicious dishes that each cost less than $10. John makes a classic Italian-American combination of homemade meatballs with garlic bread on the side. Sarah roasts a whole chicken to create roast chicken tacos with avocado, cilantro and a hint of lime.
In today's "Have You Tried?" segment, Anna explains that dried beans cost much less than canned beans, are easy to store and have more protein than meat. Lucinda prepares a Cajun treat: hearty red beans and spicy andouille sausage served with cornbread.
