Local critics discuss their picks for weekend entertainment in San Diego. Events include the San Diego Film Festival, comedian Carlos Mencia, Hotel Cafe Tour, and music by Lambchop and Tower After Hou

The San Diego Film Festival started last night and runs through Sunday. The screenings take place at the Pacific Gaslamp theaters in downtown San Diego . Carlos Mencia performs Friday at 7p.m. at the San Diego Civic Theatre.

Lambchop performs Sunday at the Casbah at 7 p.m.

The Hotel Café Tour plays the House of Blues next Tuesday night at 8:30 p.m.

Tower After Hours takes place tonight from 6-8 pm at the Museum of Man in Balboa Park.
