Authorities say a small brush fire has started in a suburban San Diego neighborhood that was the scene of some of the biggest devastation caused by the October 2007 wildfires.

Authorities say a small brush fire has started in a suburban San Diego neighborhood that was the scene of some of the biggest devastation caused by the October 2007 wildfires.

A San Diego City fire dispatcher says the fire started Tuesday shortly after noon in the upscale Rancho Bernardo neighborhood. He estimates it is about five acres.

The dispatcher says fire crews and a helicopter are already on scene.
