"More Art Upstairs" trailer

Why is art no longer a part of our everyday lives? That’s one of the many questions Jody Hassett Sanchez tries to answer in her latest documentary, “More Art Upstairs.”

The screening is part of the 24th Annual Writer's Symposium by the Sea. The screening is on Monday, Feb. 18, at 7 p.m. at Point Loma Nazarene University’s Crill Performance Hall. It will be followed by an interview and audience Q&A with Sanchez.

Sanchez joins Midday Edition on Thursday to discuss the documentary.

GUEST: Jody Hassett Sanchez, director and producer, “More Art Upstairs”
