KPBS has announced Jade Hindmon is joining Maureen Cavanaugh as co-host of KPBS Midday Edition beginning Monday, November 19, 2018.
Midday Edition is an hour-long news magazine keeping San Diego in the know on everything from politics to the arts. It airs Monday through Friday at noon on KPBS-FM, 89.5.
Jade joins Midday Edition from the KPBS News team. She has been a general assignment reporter with the stations since January 2018. Prior to making San Diego home, she was a multimedia journalist and anchor at WRTV in Indianapolis.
Maureen has been a familiar voice for KPBS listeners for more than 20 years, serving in a variety of capacities including announcer, host and producer. She has been hosting Midday Edition for 10 years.
The format of the show will remain the same with thoughtful, thorough interviews and a wide range of topics and personalities. Select Midday Edition interviews will also air on Evening Edition, our nightly news program on KPBS-TV.
