Leap Frogs at Cathedral Catholic High School
The U.S. Navy Parachute Team - known as the Leap Frogs - will perform their high-flying act on Saturday in San Diego to raise money for the Warrior Foundation and the Navy SEAL Foundation.
The Leap Frog team will parachute from an airplane onto the field of Cathedral Catholic High School's Manchester Stadium Saturday evening, in between the girls and boys lacrosse games, according to Sandy Moul of the Warrior Foundation:
During the performance, jumpers deploy their distinctive blue and gold parachutes and often activate smoke grenades during freefall flight to make it easier for spectators to see them. Once under canopy, jumpers maneuver toward each other to create various formations. The last jumper to land typically trails an American flag.
Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students and senior citizens. Children under 10 and active duty military are free.
This is the second year the Leap Frogs have performed at Cathedral Catholic High School as a fundraiser. I've posted video up top of last year's performance, to give you a taste of what you can expect.
