Crews got a full line of containment Monday around a brush fire that charred about 18 open acres near San Vicente Reservoir over the weekend.
The blaze, which threatened no structures, erupted for unknown reasons Sunday afternoon off state Route 67, near Slaughterhouse Canyon Road in the Lakeside area, according to Cal Fire.
No injuries were reported.
