San Diego County Gasoline Price Drops Again Friday

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County dropped six-tenths of a cent Friday for the second consecutive day.

The decrease is the third in a row following a five-day streak of increases that pushed the average price to its highest amount since Feb. 27, 2013, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price of $4.279 is three-tenths of a cent less than a week ago, but 23.9 cents more than a month ago and 40.2 cents greater than one year ago.
