Nancy Rubins boat sculpture goes up at La Jolla museum
Nancy Rubins' scuplture got a poor welcome when it was considered and rejected ten years ago by the San Diego convention center. But now one of her flamboyant boat sculptures is on display at the Museum of Contemporary Art. Host Tom Fudge talks with Museum Director Hugh Davies about the sculpture, called Pleasure Point, and the controversy of seven years ago.
The Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego, where the Pleasure Point is now on display, is located at 700 Prospect Street in La Jolla.
