Seniors are the fastest growing population group in California. The state faces numerous challenges in helping seniors deal with issues from financial stress to access to healthcare and housing.

Seniors are the fastest growing population in California — expecting to double over the next 25 years. A whole range of experiences awaits them, from positive lifestyle changes to stresses in personal finance and access to healthcare and affordable housing.

As part of our California Dream project, KPBS reporter Amita Sharma and Midday Edition cohost Jade Hindmon host a live forum Wednesday at noon with local experts about the challenges and opportunities facing seniors, their families, and advocates.
