LIVE FROM THE ARTISTS DEN: 5th Anniversary Special

Celebrating its fifth year on public television, the innovative concert series LIVE FROM THE ARTISTS DEN rolls out six brand-new episodes featuring Billboard-topping, Grammy-winning artists performing in intimate venues ranging from a historic theater in Los Angeles to a high-school gymnasium in Austin, Texas. This season, nine-time Grammy winner Sheryl Crow delivers a powerhouse performance in the ornate Grand Ballroom of The Plaza hotel in New York City. Crow tears through 18 songs, leading her six-piece band in a career-spanning set that includes her breakthrough hit, "All I Wanna Do," right up to her new single, "Callin' Me When I'm Lonely." Other acts include French superstars Phoenix ("Lisztomania"), singer-songwriter Sara Bareilles ("Gravity") and indie rockers Vampire Weekend ("A-Punk").

"5th Anniversary Special" - The new season of LIVE FROM THE ARTISTS DEN marks the series’ fifth year on public television and nearly 50 filmed television episodes. In celebration of these milestone achievements, a “5th Anniversary Special” closes the season, featuring highlights from throughout the series’ history – from Ringo Starr’s star-studded concert at the Metropolitan Museum of Art to Adele’s intimate acoustic performance in Santa Monica just days after the release of her record-breaking album, "21." Two-time ARTISTS DEN alumna Patty Griffin (who performed during the series’ first season and again as a member of Robert Plant’s “Band of Joy” hosts the episode.
