Army Spc. Brian K. Arsenault, 28, was killed Sept. 4, in Ghazni, Afghanistan.
According to the Department of Defense, Arsenault died from injuries suffered when the enemy attacked his unit with small-arms fire.
Arsenault was a native of Northborough, Massachusetts.
He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg in North Carolina.
