Dancing Elves Deliver Environmentally-Friendly Christmas Trees

We speak to the owner of a new business that delivers locally grown Christmas trees with the help of dancing and singing elves.

Tom Fudge: A lot of people who celebrate Christmas like the look, the feel and the smell of a live Christmas tree. But for every tree that graces the inside of someone’s home, a tree gets thrown in the trash when the season is done.

Michael McClure, aka Papa Elf, doesn’t like that situation. And he’s started a company that is part show-biz and part environmentally-friendly tree farming. His company, AdoptaChristmastree.com will deliver to your house a live Christmas tree. But only with the understanding that it will be replanted when you’re done with it. And, oh yes, the tree is delivered to you by singing elves.
